(Updated) : Twitter suspends UberTwitter and Twidroyd for policy violations. Who's next?

You read the headline right , Uber Twitter and Twidroyd users were unable to login to their twitter accounts through their app as Twitter had suspended these massively popular Twitter apps. Uber Twitter and Twidroyd are both owned by Uber Media . The reason given for the suspension is with respect to usage of the Twitter trademark and ads within the app. Doesn't Twitter just hate others siphoning off money without telling it.
Uber Media is also in the process of acquiring Tweetdeck and Echofon. Hopefully it won't do the same mistakes as now.

Update : (21/02/2011) :
Twitter released this statement today morning:

“We’ve given the developers of twidroyd and UberSocial for Blackberry (formerly UberTwitter) access to the Twitter API again. Our initial review indicates that steps have been taken to remedy the violations for these applications.
When the developer updates twidroyd and Ubersocial, you’ll be able to download their updates to access Tweets again on these applications.”
Looks like things are heading back to normal now.
