We had a lot of Indian websites hacked in the past. Most by Pakistanis ,it was part of the cyber war between the ever-fighting neighbors of the Indian Sub-continent. Now the latest is the attack on the website of National Informatics Center. It is not by Pakistanis, atleast not directly. These hackers say they are part of the hacking community "Anonymous". So what erre they protesting against? They were protesting against the Governments efforts to curb the "Movement against Corruption". They have their message clear. It is to the Government and the Prime Minister, telling them "Stop the act against Democracy".

These acts comes in the wake of actions by the Government against Baba Ramdev. On the early morning of 5th June 2011, The Police force of Delhi forcefully evicted Baba Ramdev and other protesters from the Ramlila grounds in Delhi. This is the first time the Government has taken such drastic measures to curb the Movement for Lokpal Bill. The Prime Minister on his part said it was unfortunate but unavoidable. This ofcourse didn't go too well with the Anonymous community.
The hackers took as less as 3 minutes to take control of the website. Also Anonymous have set up a separate page for "Operation India" here on facebook. The spread of Anonymous shows that it is more than just a network of hackers. It is more like a community who want justice to be done. Whatever the case , Indian Government ,Beware Anonymous are here.
